Leaders and World Ordering Workshop

Description

The study of international order is one of the most prominent subjects in contemporary International Relations (IR). Yet, despite being well-placed to respond to the limitations of the international ordering literature, the sub-field of Foreign Policy Analysis (FPA) remains peripheral to this debate. In response, this workshop aims to initiate a discussion around how FPA scholarship can connect with, and contribute to, international order theory (and vice versa). To do so, the workshop brings together scholars with expertise in three distinct subfields of International Relations: FPA; international theories of political order; and grand strategy.

This workshop is hosted by Dr Benjamin Day (Australian National University) and Dr Andrew Hom (University of Edinburgh). Space is limited and registration is required. If you are interested in attending please email Andrew.hom@ed.ac.uk
