A new podcast by the The Global Academy of Agriculture and Food Security, ‘Edinburgh Food Dialogues, with David Nabarro’, is available for download now.
In January 2020, before taking a role as World Health Organisation special envoy on Covid-19, Dr David Nabarro visited the University of Edinburgh to lead a Food Systems Dialogue (FSD) hosted by the Global Academy of Agriculture and Food Security, in collaboration with the FRIED (Food Researchers in Edinburgh) network and the Centre for Security Research.
Representatives of diverse agencies gathered to discuss food systems, including academics, NHS leaders, farmers, landowners, nutritionists, chefs, community leaders, NGO workers and civil servants.
Edinburgh University's Dr Kirsteen Shields convened the event and introduces this podcast.
